Reflexive pronouns + levantarse (to get up)

Common daily-routine verbs

despertarse — to wake up
levantarse — to get up
ducharse — to shower
vestirse — to get dressed
desayunar — to have breakfast (not reflexive)
acostarse — to go to bed

Me despierto a las seis.I wake up at six.

Se ducha por la mañana.He/she showers in the morning.

Nos acostamos temprano.We go to bed early.

💡

Quick trick: the reflexive pronoun always matches the subject (me, te, se, nos, os, se) and goes right before the conjugated verb — never after it, in everyday speech.
