Spanish verbs fall into three families based on their ending: -AR, -ER, and -IR. Regular verbs in each family always conjugate the same predictable way.

Notice that -er and -ir verbs share almost identical endings — they only differ in the nosotros and vosotros forms.
Quick trick: to conjugate any regular verb, drop the -ar/-er/-ir ending and add the matching set from the table above. Once you know one verb per family, you know the pattern for hundreds more.
