Four common adjectives don't use más/menos — they have their own special comparative word:

To say "the most / the least," use: el/la/los/las + (noun) + más/menos + adjetivo + (de …).
To say something is "extremely/very ___" without comparing it to anything, drop the final vowel of the adjective and add -ísimo/a/os/as.
Quick trick: "de" after a superlative means "in," not "of" — la ciudad más grande de España = the biggest city in Spain.
Common mistake: never say "más mejor" or "más peor" — mejor and peor already mean "better/worse," so adding más is redundant and incorrect.
